The agent of Porto manager Vitor Pereira has said that "several clubs" are interested in his client.
The 44-year-old led Dragoes to the Portuguese title last season - his first in charge since stepping up from assistant following Andre Villas-Boas's departure.
Reports suggest that Everton could be a possible destination for Pereira, as current Toffees boss David Moyes remains undecided on his future.
Although the Portuguese coach's representative Christophe Henrotay claims that there is interest, he stopped short of naming any potential admirers.
"Rumours about Everton? It is true there is interest from several clubs," Henrotay told Portugese daily sports paper O Jogo. "But now is not the time to discuss this.
"He does not speak with any club and this will remain until the end of the season."
Moyes's contract at Goodison Park runs out at the end of this season.
