Everton manager David Moyes has confirmed that Kevin Mirallas is close to making a return from injury.
The summer signing from Olympiakos has only featured once for the Toffees since November because of a hamstring complaint.
While Monday's Premier League encounter with Southampton may come too soon for the 25-year-old, Moyes has revealed that he could be back for next weekend's FA Cup tie against Bolton Wanderers.
"[Mirallas is] getting much closer and hopefully we'll have him back, certainly if it's not for this game [at St Mary's] it will be in the next week or two," said Moyes.
Mirallas has scored three goals in all competitions this season.
