Everton manager Roberto Martinez has ignored concerns over Romelu Lukaku, believing the forward has an 'enormous role' within the team.
The 22-year-old scored four goals in his first four games of the season but he has not found the back of the net since his brace against Barnsley in the League Cup a month ago.
However, Martinez feels that Lukaku is doing more for his team than just scoring goals, and the Spaniard has said that the Belgian will find the back of the net again sooner rather than later.
The 42-year-old told reporters: "Rom, as with any striker, goes through good moments in front of goal and tough moments, but that doesn't change the enormous role he has in our team and how important he is for us.
"I am very pleased with where he is and the next group of fixtures that he could have an impact on.
"We were disappointed we could not score at Swansea but you look at the amount of chances he created and as a player that is important – if he creates that number of chances he will have an incredible return in terms of goals."
Everton will head to The Hawthorns to take on West Bromwich Albion on Monday night.
