Everton boss David Moyes has said that he is pleased with the way his new signing Nikica Jelavic is settling in at Goodison Park.
The Croatian international signed from Rangers during the January transfer window for a fee of £5m.
Moyes could give his new striker a home debut in the game against Chelsea on Saturday, but the Scot has said that he understands that Jelavic will take time "to get over" the move.
"He has settled in a little bit better," said Moyes.
"Players who have moved clubs will tell you that it takes a while to settle in - you're moving your family down, you're moving up and down to your own home, so it takes a little bit of time to get over all that.
"He's had a week of training and I'm sure he's starting to settle much better."
Everton have won their last two league games against Chelsea at Goodison Park.
