West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis believes that Everton boast too much quality to find themselves embroiled in a relegation dogfight this season.
Roberto Martinez's side sit three points and four places above the drop zone after winning just one of their last nine league outings.
The Toffees host West Brom at Goodison Park on Monday searching for their first victory in 2015, but Pulis says that relegation is not on the cards.
"I don't see Everton being in it, they have had a poor run of results but they will pick up, there's too much quality in the group," he told reporters.
"Before the season started I looked at their squad and thought it was the strongest squad I have seen for years.
"Roberto has added to it because of the Europa League, I expect them to go on a run of games and not be anywhere near it."
The Baggies, who have scored eight times in Pulis's first two games in charge, will leapfrog Everton in the table with victory on Merseyside.
