Ralf Rangnick has attempted to distance himself from rumours that he is in contention to become Everton's new manager.
The 54-year-old is believed to be on a three-man shortlist at the Merseyside club, who are searching for a new leader following the departure of David Moyes to Manchester United.
Despite being touted as a candidate, Rangnick has insisted that he is committed to his dual sporting directorial role with Red Bull Salzburg and Red Bull Leipzig.
"I have been made aware of [a potential move to Everton] and well, you should not take every one of those media reports for granted," Rangnick told Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk.
"I have had signed a deal for three years with my current employer and thus far have just been in my actual job for 12 months."
Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez remains favourite to take the role at Goodison Park.
