Romelu Lukaku has claimed that Everton showed "great character" by coming from behind to secure a 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace at Goodison Park.
A loss looked to be on the cards when Scott Dann headed home against the run of play, but Lukaku scored his 50th goal for the club just five minutes later to take the Toffees into the top half of the table.
When asked whether Everton deserved all three points, the Belgian told Sky Sports News: "Of course. We had a lot of chances and we were unlucky when we hit the crossbar.
"After their goal we reacted well, it shows we have great character in the team."
Lukaku reached the 50-goal mark in his 100th competitive appearance for the club.
