Former Arsenal midfielder Patrick Vieira will reportedly be in the frame for the Everton job if the club parts company with current manager Sam Allardyce this summer.
The Frenchman, who has been in charge of New York City FC for the last two seasons, has found his way onto the Toffees' radar, according to Metro.
Previous reports tipped Vieira as a candidate to replace outgoing manager Arsene Wenger at the Emirates Stadium, but he has since been installed as a favourite to serve under Wenger's successor as assistant manager.
Everton are yet to confirm whether they will stick with Allardyce next season, with the former England boss having fallen out of favour with large sections of the club's support.
Elsewhere, Goal.com reports that the Blues will consider a move for Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe if they part ways with their current head coach.
