Everton were held to a third consecutive Premier League draw by Norwich City this afternoon, with the Canaries coming from behind to earn a point at Carrow Road.

The visitors only managed a solitary Romelu Lukaku goal despite a dominant first-half performance that also saw Leighton Baines hit the post.

Norwich levelled things up right at the start of the second half, however, as Wes Hoolahan stabbed the ball over the line from close range.

Here, Sports Mole looks at who stood out in a topsy-turvy affair.

NORWICH

Goal

Declan Rudd: The unlikely man of the match. Made three big saves to keep his side in the game having once again been preferred to John Ruddy. (8/10)

Defence

Andre Wisdom: Was not the worst offender in the first half, but was still the man hauled off by Neil at the break in a switch that worked wonders for Norwich. (5/10)

Russell Martin: Struggled at centre-back with Everton running riot on the break, but Bennett's half-time introduction saw him switch to the right and play much better in the second half. (6/10)

Sebastien Bassong: Beaten to the ball for Lukaku's goal and was second best to the Everton striker for most of the match. As with those around him, he improved in the second half, but he still looks like a weak link. (5/10)

Martin Olsson: At fault for the first goal as his clearance went straight to Deulofeu, who provided the cross for Lukaku. Had his hands full with Deulofeu throughout and suffered a torrid first half, but certainly improved after the break. (5/10)

Midfield

Alexander Tettey: Had a couple of speculative efforts from range that were never going to trouble the keeper. Was completely overrun in the first half as Everton broke with pace time after time. (5/10)

Gary O'Neil: Another who was at fault for too many unforced errors in the first half that allowed Everton to get straight at the back four. Better in the second half, though. (6/10)

Nathan Redmond: Often looked like his side's best bet to find a breakthrough, but he ultimately failed to come up with anything of substance and blew any chances to lay on a goal that came his way. (6/10)

Wes Hoolahan: Anonymous in the first half, but a little livewire in the second. Got his side's equaliser, with a little stroke of luck, and continued to carry an attacking threat that was sorely lacking in the first half. (7/10)

Robbie Brady: Had one effort deflected over, but struggled to make much of an impact other than that. Became more of a threat in the second half. (6/10)

Attack

Cameron Jerome: Led the line fairly well in the second half having not had a sniff in the first, but was guilty of missing an absolute sitter that would have clinched all three points for his side. (5/10)

Substitutes

Ryan Bennett: Came on at half time and helped Norwich to put in a much better performance. Dealt with Lukaku a lot more comfortably than Martin had and also played his part in the equaliser. (7/10)

Jonny Howson: Replaced Hoolahan for the final five minutes or so and had one sight of goal that he failed to take. (6/10)

EVERTON

Goal

Tim Howard: A complete spectator in the first half, but was busier in the second and could do nothing about the Norwich goal. (6/10)

Defence

Seamus Coleman: Made a few good runs down the right, including one that set up the chance for Baines to hit the post. He and Deulofeu enjoyed themselves on that side of the field in the first half. (6/10)

John Stones: So composed on the ball and comfortable in possession. Never panicked, even when Norwich put him under more pressure in the second half. (6/10)

Ramiro Funes Mori: Didn't have much to do in the first half but stood up to the challenge well when Norwich starting building some momentum in the second. (6/10)

Leighton Baines: Struck the post with a fine effort on what was his first start of the season. Saw out the full 90 minutes, although he was tiring towards the end and did leave some space for Redmond to exploit at times. (6/10)

Midfield

Tom Cleverley: A lively, energetic display in the first half as Everton dominated, but he didn't come up with anything particularly memorable. (6/10)

Gareth Barry: Gave his back four some very good protection in the first half to help Everton enjoy one-way traffic. Was also there to make a few important challenges and interceptions in the second half too. (7/10)

Gerard Deulofeu: Brilliant in the first half. He was really enjoying himself up against the Norwich defence and his cross for Lukaku's goal was a peach of a delivery. He faded badly in the second half, though, and was eventually taken off. (7/10)

Ross Barkley: While the likes of Deulofeu and Lukaku thrived in the first half, Barkley was never really able to get going. He was sloppy at times and just could not get in on the act. (5/10)

Arouna Kone: Thwarted by Rudd on two occasions in the first half, the second of which was a chance of his own making after he forced an error from the defender. (6/10)

Attack

Romelu Lukaku: Full of confidence in the first half and was almost unplayable at times. Scored for the seventh match in a row, but really should have added to that tally. Missed a sitter at the back post and fired a couple of other efforts narrowly wide. (7/10)

Substitutes

Kevin Mirallas: Replaced Deulofeu with around 20 minutes remaining but had no impact on the match whatsoever. (5/10)

Darron Gibson: Came on for Barkley and didn't pull up any trees during his 15-minute cameo. (6/10)
