Sports Mole looks at how Everton could line up for their Premier League clash away to Brighton & Hove Albion at the Amex on Saturday.

Everton are set to remain unchanged from the team that beat Tottenham Hotspur when they travel to the Amex to face Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday.

A blistering first-half performance saw David Moyes's side lead 3-0 at the break last weekend, before eventually limping over the line with a 3-2 win, ending their six-game winless streak in the league.

Moyes made two major alterations to his team last weekend following a defeat to Aston Villa on his return to the Goodison Park dugout, bringing Jake O'Brien in at right-back for Ashley Young, and replacing Jack Harrison with Jesper Lindstrom.

Lindstrom had his finest afternoon in an Everton shirt so far, performing diligently in a hybrid winger/wing-back role, while also providing a threat in attack, while O'Brien aptly replaced Young, despite playing much of the match out of position as a narrow full-back.

Everton now have midfield duo James Garner and Tim Iroegbunam back from lengthy injury setbacks, but both are set to remain in reserve for the time being, with their fitness being managed carefully, so the trio in the engine room should remain unchanged.

Dwight McNeil remains out, meaning he will not have the chance to return to the stadium where he had one of his best Everton performances, scoring twice in a 5-1 win back in 2023, and his creativity and set-piece delivery continues to be a big miss for the Toffees.

Idrissa Gueye took over some of that creative responsibility, assisting twice in the same game for the first time in over 10 years last Sunday, but the players he set up did much of the hard work in scoring their respective goals.

The pick of the bunch from last week was Iliman Ndiaye's solo strike, which saw him run half the length of the field, tying Radu Dragusin up in knots, before firing home clinically to give Everton a 2-0 lead, and putting himself forward for the club's goal of the season competition.

It was Dominic Calvert-Lewin who got the ball rolling, though, and there would have been nobody more relieved to see the net ripple than him, after a 16-game scoring drought prior, also solidifying his place in the lineup for this one.

Elsewhere on the injury list, Seamus Coleman and Youssef Chermiti are set to remain out for a little longer, but should return in the coming weeks.

Everton possible starting lineup: Pickford; O'Brien, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko; Lindstrom, Gueye, Mangala, Doucoure, Ndiaye; Calvert-Lewin
