Everton are reportedly closing in on a deal to sign Ajax attacker Mohammed Kudus.

The Toffees are looking to strengthen in the final third following the departure of Richarlison, while Anthony Gordon is also being linked with a move away.

After scoring only one goal in their opening two league games, Everton are chasing attacking targets, including Ajax's Kudus.

According to Football Insider, Everton are in advanced talks to sign Kudus from Ajax, with negotiations on Friday believed to be positive.

The Dutch champions are reportedly open to selling a player that has found it tough to become a regular starter.

Kudus has come off the bench in all three of Ajax's competitive matches this season, scoring once in the club's 5-3 Dutch Super Cup defeat to PSV Eindhoven. body check tags ::
