Everton have made a £6m bid for Birmingham City goalkeeeper Jack Butland, according to Sky Sports News.
The 19-year-old, who was part of Roy Hodgson's Euro 2012 squad, has reportedly been a target for a number of Premier League clubs.
Butland also starred for Team GB at the Olympics and has been guaranteed first-team football by new Blues boss Lee Clark.
However, it is believed that the Toffees have now made a last-ditch attempt to secure his signature.
