Everton have allowed midfielder Kieran Dowell to sign a season-long loan deal with Nottingham Forest.
The Toffees have been active in the transfer market this summer, but it has led to some of their fringe players facing limited opportunities to impress manager Ronald Koeman.
Dowell has netted twice during Everton's pre-season campaign, but the 19-year-old was not involved in the 18-man squad which was named for last week's Europa League fixture with MFK Ruzomberok.
The England Under-20 international will now represent Forest in the Championship during the upcoming campaign as he looks to gain more experience after failing to make a first-team appearance for Everton last season.
Dowell could feature in Mark Warburton's squad for their league opener with Millwall on Friday night.
