Monaco defender Ruben Vinagre has reportedly emerged as a possible transfer target for Everton.
Vinagre is currently on loan at Wolverhampton Wanderers, with the 18-year-old having already made eight starts for the Championship club in all competitions.
Wolves are allegedly keen on securing the services of the Portuguese teenager on a permanent basis but according to the Daily Mail, Everton hold an interest in the left-back.
Manager Ronald Koeman is eager to find competition for Leighton Baines, with the Toffees failing to sign a left-sided defender before the end of the summer transfer window.
Everton will be active in the market at the start of 2018, and the Premier League club could try to move ahead of Wolves in the race to sign the prospect.
Vinagre still has just under five years remaining on his contract at Stade Louis II.
