Everton defender Yerry Mina has emerged as a target for Ligue 1 side Marseille ahead of the summer transfer window, according to a report.
The Colombian endured an injury-hit 2021-22 campaign with the Toffees, who narrowly avoided relegation from the Premier League thanks to a dramatic 3-2 win over Crystal Palace in their penultimate game of the season.
Mina was restricted to just 13 league appearances all year as a result of numerous injury problems, with Everton often suffering without the 27-year-old's leadership and defensive skills on the pitch.
Frank Lampard's side will be out to make a significant improvement next season, but they may have to do so without the services of Mina according to Colombia Detail Zero, who report that the defender is attracting interest from elsewhere.
The report suggests that Jorge Sampaoli's Marseille hold an interest in taking the former Barcelona man to France this summer, who is said to be valued at around €20m (£17m).
The Ligue 1 side could offer Mina the prospect of playing Champions League football in the 2022-23 campaign, after Marseille finished runners-up only to Paris Saint-Germain last season.
Since making the move from the Camp Nou to Goodison Park for around £26.5m in 2018, Mina has gone on to make 91 appearances for the club across all competitions. body check tags ::
