Everton manager Roberto Martinez has insisted that he has no plans to sell Aiden McGeady this summer.
The Republic of Ireland winger has been linked with a move away from Merseyside after making just 16 Premier League appearances for the Toffees last season.
However, Martinez has stated that the 29-year-old remains a key part of his plans at Goodison Park.
"With Aiden there is nothing. I wouldn't like to go into every rumour and justify every rumour that is in the media, otherwise we would never finish," Martinez told talkSPORT.
"Aiden McGeady is an exceptional footballer and he has a talent that is very important for our squad.
"All we need now is to find a solution to that niggling hamstring problem that he has been carrying and I hope that Aiden can enjoy his football."
McGeady joined Everton from Spartak Moscow in January 2014.
