Everton midfielder James McCarthy remains committed to the Blues and is seeking contract talks with the club's hierarchy, according to a report.
Rumours had suggested that the Republic of Ireland international is ready to move on from Goodison Park, but the Liverpool Echo claims that this is untrue.
However, McCarthy and his representatives are said to be keen to enter negotiations over an improved contract.
Clubs including Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with the midfielder, who joined Everton from Wigan Athletic in 2013.
McCarthy is currently training with the Ireland squad ahead of their Euro 2016 qualifier against Scotland.
