Inter Milan midfielder Ever Banega is reportedly a January transfer target for Everton boss Ronald Koeman.
The 27-year-old joined Inter from Sevilla in the summer and has made 12 Serie A appearances for the Italian giants this season.
Inter are believed to be under pressure to sell in the winter transfer window, however, and according to football.fr, Everton will make their move at the start of next month as Koeman looks to boost his midfield options.
Experienced Argentine international Banega scored nine times in 43 appearances for Sevilla last season before moving to San Siro on a free transfer.
Manchester United duo Morgan Schneiderlin and Memphis Depay also continue to be linked with moves to Goodison Park.
