Jonjoe Kenny will reportedly commit his future to Everton until 2022 after being offered a new long-term contract by the Merseyside outfit.
The England Under-21s international has been used nine times in the Premier League this season, and a further five occasions in other competitions, after successfully stepping up from the development side.
According to The Mirror, the young defender's solid displays have encouraged Goodison Park chiefs to tie him down for the next four-and-a-half seasons.
Kenny, whose existing contract has 18 months left to run, will see his wages increase to bring him in line with other first-team players.
Everton are expected to be boosted by the return to fitness of fellow full-back Seamus Coleman early in the New Year, meanwhile, 10 months on from suffering a horrific leg break.
