Romania have qualified for next year's Euro 2016 with a 3-0 triumph against the Faroe Islands in Torshavn.
The Tricolours, who needed to win to make sure of denying neighbours Hungary a place in France, were ahead inside four minutes as Razvan Rat latched onto Gabriel Torje's free kick on the left flank and the full-back teed up Constantin Budescu to score.
Hallur Hansson tried to pull the Faroes back on level terms moments later, but the midfielder's shot was turned behind by Ciprian Tatarusanu before Ragnar Nattesad fired another effort wide.
Romania could have added to their lead just after the half-hour mark when Adrian Popa failed to test Gunnar Nielsen.
However, he atoned for that miss when he set up Budescu for his second before half time.
Moments after the interval, Tatarusanu needed to be alert as the kept out another effort from Hansson.
Romania finally made sure of victory, and their place in the finals, when Alexandru Maxim scored their third with seven minutes left.
