Fleetwood Town manager Graham Alexander has claimed that the club's latest success is all down to the ambition of chairman Andy Pilley.
The Cod Army continued their remarkable rise up the Football League ladder by securing promotion to League One in their playoff final at Wembley this afternoon - the sixth time that they have won promotion in the space of nine years.
Alexander took over the club in December 2012 and insists that securing a spot in League One is among the best moments of his career in football so far.
"It's right up there. Everyone works hard for any success in football and it feels the same for players and managers," Alexander told reporters.
"It's down to the ambition of the chairman, who took over 11 years ago, and always believing we can smash through any glass ceiling put above us.
"It's the chairman's 44th birthday as well so it's a double celebration. I'm hoping the trophy is enough of a present."
Antoni Sarcevic got the goal that saw Fleetwood beat Burton Albion 1-0 today.
