France striker Karim Benzema has said that he and his teammates are proud of their 2-0 win against Ukraine at Euro 2012.
Benzema, who became the first Frenchman since 1984 to assist two goals in one game at the European Championship, helped France to their first win in a major international competition since the 2006 World Cup.
"We are all pleased with the outcome," he told RMC.
"We did not concede a goal, and we took all three points. It's been a while. We're all proud of this result.
"We all had a good game. We must continue like this."
France will take on Sweden in Kiev next week.
