Manchester City player Samir Nasri is adamant that France need to sort out their midfield problems before they face England at Euro 2012.
France stuttered to a 3-2 win over minnows Iceland at the weekend and received a lot of criticism for their midfield performance. Nasri knows that Les Bleus need to plug the gaps or face being beaten by the Three Lions on June 11.
"We leave ourselves exposed a lot with the system we have. We struggled to have enough cover in midfield," admitted Nasri.
"Our opponents found gaps to get through. We need to find the right balance if we line up the same way.
"That's because once the Euros get under way it will be difficult for us to come back if we start a game the way we did against Iceland."
France and England are joined in Group D by Sweden and co-hosts Ukraine.
