France coach Didier Deschamps has acknowledged that Brazil showed quality when they defeated his side 3-1 in Thursday evening's international friendly.
The 1998 World Cup winner admitted that the opposition were superior, but also drew positives from the reverse.
"You can always do better but you have to accept that your opponent has quality, and they showed it tonight," he told reporters.
"We struggled to get our game going in attack, although we did well from set pieces. It's always difficult when you're 2-1 down but we reacted well. We had two or three chances to equalise but unfortunately we conceded that third goal."
France went ahead in the first half through Raphael Varane, but goals from Oscar, Neymar and Luiz Gustavo sealed the win for the Brazilians.
