Inter Milan are reportedly keen to appoint Laurent Blanc as the club's new coach in the summer.
The Inter board do not plan to extend Andrea Stramaccioni's interim spell in charge beyond the end of the current season.
As a result, the Blue and Blacks are on the hunt for a new manager and former player Blanc is top of their wishlist, according to L'Equipe.
However, they will have to wait under the 46-year-old has taken the French national team to Euro 2012.
Blanc has been in charge of France since 2010.
