Frank Ribery believes that the French national side are lacking confidence and feels they should look to the inspiration of his club Bayern Munich.
France sit just one point behind Spain in their World Cup qualifying group but have not scored in their last four international fixtures.
The 30-year-old, who won UEFA's Best Player in Europe award for the 2012-13 season, says that the national side should focus on playing without fear like his club side do.
"What I've been living at Bayern is completely different. At Bayern, we never ask ourselves questions," he is reported as saying by Yahoo! Sport.
"With France, when a player misses, he loses confidence, he is afraid of being criticised.
"But we'll try to make everyone regain confidence, lift the pressure."
France travel to Georgia for their next World Cup qualifier on September 6.
