Zinedine Zidane has revealed that he is interested in coaching the France national team in the future.
The 40-year-old won the 1998 World Cup and Euro 2000 with Les Bleus, and also reached the final of the World Cup in 2006.
"It means a lot to me," he told L'Equipe when asked if he would like to coach his nation one day.
"It is never the time to talk about it because there are always coaches in place, but if you ask me, then I'll reply even though it is not relevant today."
Zidane won the Ballon d'Or in 1998 and the FIFA World Player of the Year award in 1998, 2000 and 2003.
