Fulham striker Dimitar Berbatov has described his side's second-half performance against Queens Park Rangers this evening as "childish".
Berbatov scored twice as Fulham raced into a 3-0 lead inside 41 minutes, but QPR fought back to reduce the deficit to one goal before the Cottagers held out to claim a 3-2 victory.
The Bulgarian striker admitted that his side took their foot off the pedal when they established the three-goal lead, but was pleased with how they held on with just 10 men in the closing stages to pick up all three points.
"We almost threw the game away," said Berbatov.
"The second half was a bit childish maybe and they scored the second and started to believe, but in the end we held on and three points was good for us."
The result leaves Fulham 10th in the Premier League table, while QPR remain seven points from safety.
