Fulham manager Mark Hughes was sent off by the referee in yesterday's clash with Wolves.
The Welshman became visibly angry when ref Michael Oliver booked Brede Hangeland in the second half, kicking several water bottles at the side of the pitch. Oliver responded by sending Hughes to the stands.
Speaking to the BBC after the game, Hughes said that he and Wolves counterpart Mick McCarthy were "baffled" by some of Oliver's decisions. "We know it's a difficult role and they do it to the best of their ability, but on occasion it looked a little bit too much for the referee today. He probably needs to step back and have another few games at lower levels, just so he's better equipped next time."
He added: "I asked him what I got sent off for and apparently it was abuse of a water bottle, so that's a new one on me."
The match ended as a 1-1 draw at Molineux.
