Slavisa Jokanovic has praised Fulham's performance in their first win of the Premier League season but admits that the road ahead is long for his team.
The Cottagers ran out 4-2 winners over Burnley at Craven Cottage on Sunday to pick up their first points of the campaign, edging them up to 12th in the fledgling table.
Jokanovic declared himself "satisfied" and noted his side's improvement, as well as discussing Aleksandar Mitrovic's impressive two-goal performance and the issues in having brought in 12 new players.
"You have to be satisfied after this," the Serb told BBC Sport. "It's a big boost for us. We are improving definitely. The job is not over and we need to keep working,
"Mitrovic played very well. He has to be satisfied with the performance. We are working at set pieces - Scott Parker (first-team coach) had worked hard for us in that area.
"We know after the first two defeats it's not easy for us to find the right way. But it's normal, we have 12 new players. I made five changes but I will depend on all my squad."
Fulham turn their attention to the EFL Cup in midweek as they host Exeter City on Tuesday night.
