Fulham manager Martin Jol has claimed that striker Pavel Pogrebnyak wants to stay with the club.
The Russian, who has scored five goals in five games for the Cottagers, is currently on loan from Bundesliga side Stuttgart until the end of the season.
The 28-year-old will be a free agent over the summer, and Jol believes that he will sign a permanent deal with the Premier League side.
"I think he wants to stay because Pavel knows football," said Jol.
"Things were not always easy for him [in Germany] but now he is the main striker for us. Hopefully he will appreciate that."
Fulham, who sit 12th in the table, travel to Manchester United on Monday night.
