Fulham manager Martin Jol has rued his side's missed chances after their 3-1 defeat to Everton at Craven Cottage.
Bryan Ruiz had drawn the hosts level after Royston Drenthe's opener, but goals from Louis Saha and Jack Rodwell condemned the Cottagers to their first league defeat of the season after Bobby Zamora had missed an open goal.
"To concede in the 90th minute from the goal kick when seconds before we should have scored a winner, it's harsh," said Jol.
"We fought ourselves back into it and in the second half the equaliser from Bryan Ruiz should have been enough to win this game.
"It is not about possession or playing better now, it is about chances. We really thought we could have a result from today but we didn't."
The defeat has seen Jol's side move down to 17th place in the Premier League table, while Everton have pushed up into 13th.
