Fulham manager Martin Jol is certain that top scorer Clint Dempsey will still be at Craven Cottage next season.
The American scored Fulham's equaliser and his 16th Premier League goal of the season in their 1-1 draw at home to Chelsea on Monday and Jol has once again praised the forward.
"I think he's a very important player over the last couple of years and is very productive," Jol told Sky Sports News.
"You can play him on the left and he will score goals, you can play him up front, although it is not his favourite position, but on Saturday he held the ball up well and today again, and if you get the delivery he's one of the best I know.
"Hopefully we will [keep Dempsey] because he's still here for next season as well, so we won't sell him, so that is easy."
The 29-year-old has just one year remaining on his deal after joining Fulham from New England Revolution in January 2007.
