Alexander Kacaniklic believes that his decision to swap Liverpool for Fulham in 2010 has been proved correct.
The Swedish winger was deemed surplus to requirements at Anfield by the then-manager Roy Hodgson and he ended up moving to Fulham in a deal that saw full-back Paul Konchesky in the opposite direction.
He has since gone on to become a regular fixture in the Fulham starting lineup and the 21-year-old is happy that he opted to join his London-based employers.
"I didn't speak to Roy Hodgson that much at Liverpool. I had to move to develop my career," said the Swede. "It has gone very well at Fulham and it feels like I made the right move."
Kacaniklic has scored one goal so far this season.
