Fulham head coach Rene Meulensteen has urged the club's supporters to get behind the team in Saturday's home clash against relegation rivals Sunderland.
The Dutchman said that the game was very important but he had prepared his players as well as he has been able to, which he hopes could make the difference.
"It's a huge game for us and them, but we've been working hard and that's paid off," he told reporters at his press conference. "Hopefully it will be the same tomorrow.
"The fans have been fantastic for us, we couldn't have asked for anything more. They've got a big role to play."
Meulensteen took over from Martin Jol at the start of December.
