Fulham striker Pavel Pogrebnyak has expressed his desire to remain at the club despite speculation over his future.
The 28-year-old, has scored six goals in 10 games for the West London outfit since his January move from Stuttgart, alerting clubs such as Aston Villa and Sunderland to his potential availability.
However, the Russian striker wants to remain with the Cottagers and is eager to sign a new contract with the club.
"I would like to stay in England, in Fulham," Pogrebnyak told RIA Novosti.
"That's what we are working on now."
Pogrebnyak has made 31 appearances for the Russian national side, scoring eight times.
