Fulham midfielder Kieran Richardson has that he hopes to get back into the England squad.
The 27-year-old has eight international caps and two goals to his name from his time at Manchester United but hasn't featured for the Three Lions in a number of years.
However, he is hoping that his deadline-day move to Craven Cottage from Sunderland will help his chances of catching Roy Hodgson's attention.
"It's strange being at the training ground when it's an international break and there's just six or seven other lads with you," Richardson told Fulham's official website.
"It does make you miss being involved for your country.
"But I want to get Fulham right first and if things go well, hopefully I can get back in that England squad."
Richardson last appeared for England in 2006.
