Fulham captain Brede Hangeland has called on his teammates to show some "fight" in their battle for Premier League survival.
The Cottagers are currently four points adrift of safety at the bottom of the table following a nine-game winless run.
They return to action on Saturday when Newcastle United make the trip to Craven Cottage.
"The only thing that will pull us out of this situation is hard work and belief that we can do it," Hangeland told The Mirror.
"We have to stop feeling sorry for ourselves and the situation we are in and pull in the same direction.
"We are under a lot of pressure - everyone can read the league table. But we have to try and pick ourselves up as soon as possible. There is one way and that is to fight together as a group."
Fulham head into this weekend's match against Newcastle having lost their last two games.
