Lewis Holtby has vowed to work hard in order to help Fulham stay in the Premier League this season.
The midfielder joined the Cottagers on loan from Tottenham Hotspur last month on a deal until the end of the campaign.
Holtby, 23, has now dismissed suggestions that he does not care about the club's future.
"I came here to enjoy my football, to give my all and play as well as I can for this club and for the team," he told Fulham's official website.
"I don't want to go down with this club – I didn't come here to just do my own thing, that's not my task. My task is that when I came here I wanted the club to stay up and I'll graft to make sure they do."
Fulham's battle for Premier League survival continues on Saturday with a trip to West Bromwich Albion.
