Fulham striker Andy Johnson has backed former teammate Bobby Zamora to keep his new club Queens Park Rangers in the Premier League.
Zamora moved to QPR from Fulham in the January transfer window following reports of a rift with manager Martin Jol.
"I speak to Bobby all the time, he is one of my best friends," Johnson said.
"Can Bobby keep QPR up? Definitely. He scored the other week and it just takes time for the other players to get used to the way Bob plays and for Bob to get used to them.
"There is no doubt in my mind QPR have made a great signing. If anyone can keep them up, it is Bob."
QPR are currently 17th in the Premier League with 21 points from 26 games.
