Williams Kvist has said that Fulham have "a lot of quality" in their squad, despite sitting bottom in the Premier League.
The midfielder joined the Cottagers on loan for the rest of the season during the January transfer window from Stuttgart.
The Denmark international told the club's website: "It's not a great situation at the moment and I think everybody is aware of that. That's also why the Head Coach wanted new players in to have some more energy in the team.
"There's actually a lot of quality in the team and then bringing in new people as well will get the energy started again, and the belief that we can do this.
"We need to work hard as well as compete and we just have to take one step at a time. It can't get any worse at the moment and we have 14 games left in the Premier League and that's a lot of points ahead of us."
Fulham face Manchester United at Old Trafford tomorrow.
