Scott Parker has admitted that Fulham are running out of games in their bid to win the club's relegation battle and retain their Premier League status for next season.
The Cottagers slumped to a 4-1 defeat to Sunderland on Saturday, with Adam Johnson bagging a hat-trick for the Black Cats.
The West London outfit are 16th in the standings, one point adrift of the drop zone, and Parker has earmarked victory over Norwich City on Tuesday to kick-start the team's ascent up the table.
"We're running out of games, so we need to try and put it right together and hopefully bounce back from this and go again," he told Sky Sports News.
"The season isn't long. We're at the other side of Christmas now and we're in a dogfight. It's going to be difficult for us and we've got to go out there with the mentality that we've got to try and win as many games as we can and give ourselves a chance.
"I think it is good we've got a game on Tuesday night which we can put right what we got wrong today hopefully."
Tuesday's encounter with the Canaries is scheduled to kick off at 8pm.
