Bournemouth have kept their place at the summit of the Championship with a 2-0 win over Fulham this evening.
Brett Pitman gave the leaders the advantage inside the first 10 minutes when he flicked Matt Ritchie's corner goalwards at the near post.
The Cherries looked to extend their advantage on 20 minutes, but Callum Wilson's strike from outside the box was saved before Ritchie lashed a free kick over the bar.
Ross McCormack saw a shot blocked for the Cottagers before Harry Arter fired over the bar for Bournemouth on 36 minutes.
Eddie Howe's side were awarded a penalty after the restart when Wilson was bundled over in the area.
However, Pitman fired straight down the middle and his spot kick was saved by Fulham keeper Marcus Bettinelli.
Seko Fofana fired over for Fulham before Scott Parker had a shot blocked as they pressed for an equaliser, but it was the Cherries who took the points and Arter made the result safe in stoppage time.
The midfielder was afforded the room to drive at the Fulham defence before sending a low strike into the bottom corner from around 20 yards.
