Fulham are reportedly on the verge of completing a deal to sign Borussia Dortmund forward Andre Schurrle.
Schurrle has been released from Dortmund's pre-season tour of the United States in order to secure a move away from the Bundesliga outfit, with a number of clubs thought to be looking at the winger.
AC Milan and Crystal Palace were among those credited with an interest, but Sky Sports News reports that Fulham have now won the race for the 27-year-old's signature.
Schurrle is expected to fly to London tonight ahead of his medical with the Cottagers tomorrow, and an official announcement could be made later on Wednesday.
The World Cup winner knows West London well having spent two years as a Chelsea player between 2013 and 2015, making 65 appearances for the club and scoring 14 goals.
Schurrle could become Fulham's fourth signing of the summer following the arrivals of Jean Michael Seri, Maxime Le Marchand and Fabri.
