Fulham midfielder Clint Dempsey has claimed that "the truth will come out soon" after his future at the club was thrown into doubt on Friday.
The American, who has been linked with a move to Liverpool, is understood to have been fined by the Cottagers for refusing to play for the club.
"There are two sides to the story," he tweeted. "The truth will come out soon."
Fulham start the new Premier League season at home to Norwich City on Saturday.
