Fulham are considering signing Sam Wilson from non-league outfit Eastleigh.
The 17-year-old striker has impressed the Premier League side despite failing to score in the Blue Square Bet South division this season.
Fulham opted to play him in their Academy side at the weekend and have first option on signing the player in January.
"We have agreed with Fulham that we will not covet interest in the player from other clubs for a period of time and we will review that situation in the new year," said Eastleigh director of football David Malone.
Wilson has made two starts and eight appearances off the bench for Eastleigh in the Blue Square Bet South division this term.
