Fulham have recalled Jack Grimmer from his loan at League Two club Shrewsbury Town.
The 20-year-old Scottish defender started seven games for the Shrews since joining them a month ago but will now return to Craven Cottage to provide cover.
The Cottagers are light at the back because of injuries and suspensions, and Grimmer could make a first appearance since moving down from Aberdeen in January 2012.
"Jack has been a delight to work with and is a credit to Fulham and to himself," Shrewsbury boss Micky Mellon told the club website.
"He has continued to develop in his time with us and with the games he's played and returns to Fulham a better player for it."
Grimmer was due to stay with Shrewsbury until January.
