Fulham defender Brede Hangeland is more likely to leave the club the longer it takes to discuss a new contract, according to the player's agent.
Hangeland is out of contract at Craven Cottage at the end of the season, and despite his agent Rune Hauge insisting that the Norwegian centre-back is happy at the club, he believes that a deal needs to be signed sooner rather than later.
Hauge told Norwegian media: "We are still negotiating, but the longer it takes to reach an agreement, the chance that he will stay is decreasing.
"At the same time, Brede is happy at Fulham and the club is happy with him. We will see in one or three months."
The 31-year-old signed for Fulham from Danish side Copenhagen in 2008.
