Fulham are in talks with Villarreal over the sale of Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa, according to a report.
The 23-year-old midfielder joined the Cottagers from Marseille for around £22m last summer, but struggled to make an impact in English football.
According to the Evening Standard, Fulham cannot keep Anguissa in the Championship and the Cameroonian is in talks to sign for La Liga outfit Villarreal.
Anguissa was part of Fulham's £100m recruitment drive upon promotion to the Premier League, but featured in just four Premier League wins as the Whites were relegated straight back to the Championship.
Fulham manager Scott Parker has begun his preparation for the new season by signing Ivan Caveleiro and Anthony Knockaert on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers and Brighton and Hove Albion respectively.
