Fulham manager Martin Jol has insisted that midfielder Clint Dempsey will remain at the club.
The American international has been the subject of interest from Liverpool this summer, but Jol has stated that he wants a player of Dempsey's calibre to stay at Craven Cottage.
"I don't want to talk about the speculation," Jol told the Fulham Chronicle.
"I love Clint. He scores a lot of goals and I want to keep him."
Dempsey scored 23 goals for Fulham last season.
